At Cornwall Art Studio we offer a relaxed and informal environment to develop your artistic skills. Have a look at the paintings in our Gallery to see art that has been created by participants in our Workshops, some of whom have never painted before.

All of the paintings have been completed in a 4 hour workshop.

Bring along a Scene 29/03/2017: The end of our painting 'term' and as normal we finished with an opportunity for our participants to bring along the images of their choice. It is always inspiring to paint a scene that means something personal. Wishing everyone a happy Easter break and we will see you again in a couple of weeks! We are fully booked in April and May, however the new dates for June and July will be available to book very soon.

Reflections/ Estuary Birds 15/03/2017: a dual themed session so Tracey had to work hard in the demonstration. What an interesting workshop and at times, you could hear a pin drop - which as most of you know is very unusual for our Studio! The exhibition information has been sent out to everyone today, so if you would like to take part then please email Julia. If you have not received the email, then let us know.

Reflections (semi abstract) 14/03/2017: An exercise to focus on painting what you see and not what you think it is! Our participants had to concentrate on their brush techniques and colour mixing to create these amazing canvases. A very successful, but challenging session!

Naive Art - Harbour 0//03/2017: a completely different theme today and we thoroughly enjoyed the session. It was a very quiet workshop as the levels of concentration were high to achieve the simplification of the subjects. Some fantastic canvases!

Went to my first workshop today - and absolutely loved it.
It was such a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. I'm really looking forward to my next one.

How I love coming to the Studio....it is a very relaxed place to paint. You have inspired me so much, every time we come to stay in Cornwall, I try and get to a session.

I come away full of enthusiasm.
